- We will need more support to get through this, unless elite football is to go down, says Simon Åström, club manager Örebro SK.

Do you look to get any support for missing audience revenue?

- Nothing. Not at all, we had hoped that part of the government support that went out would go exactly to the revenue loss we suffered in the spring and these were the first signals we received.

Then a re-prioritization was made and the money goes instead to youth and youth sports.

- It is possible that these are the right priorities, although this clearly does not benefit us. There are no parachutes or anything else that dampens our revenue loss.

The fact that the Allsvenskan starts on June 14 is of course positive, both for the economy and the energy in Football Sweden.

- A good first step, but it will be an incredibly difficult year financially, says Åström.

He continues:

- All clubs are in the same boat, there are very few who can get out of this without any problems. It does not make our situation easier, but it nevertheless creates a possibility that we can help and cooperate on many issues and work together towards government and others.
