The start of the collective training sessions from June 1 represents for LaLiga "the last step in the protocol that will lead the clubs to start the competition on June 11."

This Monday all the clubs will start their collective sessions, following the provisions of Order SND / 458/2020, which according to LaLiga is " one more step in the strict Training Protocol drawn up in coordination with the CSD, which has had four phases very differentiated ".

"The first of these began in early May, when medical tests were carried out on all LaLiga Santander and LaLiga SmartBank clubs and individual training began . Weeks later, on May 18, training began in small groups, from up to ten players, who soon expanded to 14. The fourth phase, which starts next Monday, is the last step in this Protocol that will lead the clubs to start the competition on June 11, "LaLiga said in a statement.

Professional soccer in Spain was suspended on March 12 because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

"Since then, LaLiga has worked closely with the CSD, the Ministry of Health and the RFEF to achieve the return of the competition safely and always following the recommendations of the health authorities," recalled the entity.

LaLiga will return on June 11 with the derby between Sevilla and Real Betis and will end, predictably and always depending on the evolution of the pandemic, on the weekend of July 18 and 19 .
