The head of the Professional Committee and the first team of Dibba Al-Hisn Club, Mohamed Saif Al-Dhahoury, confirmed that the club’s management will not dispense with the main players in the team, in preparation for the completion of the current season of the first division, or preparing for the next season, in the event of canceling the current season, with the exception of the player Mahmoud Hassan, the resident Iraqi Muhammad Mustafa, who preferred to move to other clubs of their own accord.

He told «Emirates Today»: «The players who did not renew their contracts at the present time, are those who did not get the opportunity to participate primarily during the past matches, or who did not help them their readiness to continue with the team due to injuries. Al-Dhahoury added, “The renewal is the year of football, and we, on our part, will not dispense with any major player in the team, and everything in the matter was the number of members of the team previously 33 players, which is a relatively large number, so we worked to reduce the number taking into consideration the compensation of some positions.” With regard to foreign players and residents, Al-Dhahoury stressed that the current Brazilian players, Rodrigo and Raphael, are continuing until the end of the current season, while this file will be studied with the new coach at a later time. He pointed out that the players who are outside the country will be notified of their presence in early July, in preparation for returning to training with the resumption of sports activities.
