Asiri had moved to Al-Ahly in 2016 from his neighbor Al-Ittihad before renewing his contract with Al-Ahly in January 2019 for two seasons.
Al-Ahly management wants to resolve Asiri file before the player enters the free period one and a half months from now, as he is entitled to sign for any team six months before the end of his contract in January 2021.
