This was reported by the press service of the competition. Instead of a real marathon, the organizers intend to conduct a virtual race. All participants registered for the event will be refunded the registration fee and guaranteed participation in the virtual version of the marathon.
Initially, the race was postponed to September 14th. The Boston Marathon was first canceled in its 124-year history.
Earlier it was reported that in St. Petersburg will be held more than 140 events on City Day.
