The Premier League is in the starting blocks and many are eagerly waiting for the world's most watched football league to kick off after the corona break. Last night, the league communicated in a press release that two more cases of the corona virus have been discovered among the 996 players and club employees who have now been tested during a second test round. This after a first test round showed six cases, including three cases in Watford.

- Players or club employees who have tested positive will be isolated over a seven-day period, the league writes in a statement.

"Project restart" is the designation for Premier League's return to games and it is hoped to be able to play matches in June, without any specific dates yet spiked. New test rounds are planned for the beginning of next week. During Wednesday, all 20 clubs will meet to decide whether to proceed to phase two of the start-up work and allow full body contact during training.
