The third virtual race for people of determination, held in cooperation between the Emirates Triathlon Association and the Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination and the management of its sports clubs, witnessed a strong competition between participants from eight countries.

A press release said: “The race was held with the technology of visual communication remotely, and a different mechanism has been identified to calculate the results, to ensure that the opportunity to participate is given to the largest possible number of contestants from the UAE and various countries of the world, taking into account the special circumstances of each contestant, where the winner was announced from the category of owners Alhamm, for the player who achieved the best improvement in the three virtual races that were organized ».

The statement said: "The race witnessed the participation of eight countries: the Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Morocco, Tunisia, France and Germany." The jury followed all the contestants, through the live broadcast of each participating player.

On the level of results, the handicraft competition resulted in the victory of Emirati Rashid Al Dhaheri, the Asian champion in the handicraft category MH4, and ranked second in the Emirati Hussain Al Mazem, Gulf champion in the category of MH3, while the third place went to the Moroccan Mohamed Al Kushi champion Morocco and Africa in the category MH3.

In the wheelchair arrangement, Moroccan Radwan won the Moroccan champion in 1500 and 5000 meters, secondly, Saudi Fahd Al-Junaidel, the Asian champion in 100 meters, and third came Emirati Ahmed Nawad, world youth champion in 100/200/400 meters.

For his part, the Secretary General of the Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination, Abdullah Abdelali Al Humaidan, affirmed that the Foundation welcomed the idea of ​​the race, and strongly supported it by involving its members in the three races, on the premise that sport and keenness to practice it are among the most important reasons for maintaining health.
