The former world champion Tiger Woods has a long history of injury and has operated on his back several times. But a year ago, he made a cheeky comeback and won the US Masters, eleven years after the most recent major victory.

Woods has said that the quarantine period during the corona pandemic has done him good and that the form is "like night and day" compared to February.

Now the star's back is the big topic of conversation for the televised charity match "The Match: Champions for Charity" at The Medalist in Florida.

Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson then get each quarterback in American football by their side - Peyton Manning and Tom Brady - and face each other.

- I think it will be interesting to see Tom and Peyton come out of their comfort zones. They are accustomed to guys weighing 130 kilos trying to tackle them, that's the norm for them. Now it will be silence, just them and a golf ball. It is brave of them to dare to do this on live television, Woods tells Golf Digest.

The match starts at 21.00 Swedish time on Sunday.
