On Saturday, in "Europe 1 Sport", our Brazilian football consultant Isabela Pagliari returned to the news of winter football. And in particular on the resumption of training for Paris Saint-Germain. According to her, the PSG could ask all the players who went abroad during the confinement to put themselves in the fortnight once back in France.

PSG players who went abroad during the shutdown of Ligue 1 will they have to quarantine once back in Paris? In any case, this is what Isabela Pagliari, Brazilian football consultant for Europe 1 on the Europe 1 Sport program, is saying this Saturday . "Take the example of Marquinhos, I think that PSG will ask him, like all players who are abroad, to take 15 days of 'rest', or rather quarantine in Paris, before returning to the Camp des Lodges. " A practice that would make sense from a health point of view, but also taking into account the planned date of June 22 "for the return of training".

Marquinhos returns home despite worrying figures in Brazil

While Thiago Silva and Neymar had decided fairly quickly to return to the country during the confinement, Marquinhos had chosen to stay in France with his relatives. But the saudade was too strong for his wife Carole and after 50 days, they decided to return to the country. A questionable choice given the health situation: Brazil is the second country most affected in the world by Covid-19 with more than 21,000 deaths. "The couple took all the security measures to go to Brazil, Marquinhos wanted to respect his wife's need to see his loved ones," says Isabela Pagliari.

A distance program

As a reminder, Paris Saint-Germain players follow a specific program from a distance, concocted by the club's Brazilian physiotherapist, Bruno Mazziotti. PSG could resume competition in early August with the finals of the Coupe de France, against Saint-Etienne, and the Coupe de la Ligue against Olympique Lyonnais. The program should be enriched with the return of the Champions League, pending the validation of UEFA, on the occasion of its Comex (executive committee, note), next June 17.
