The acute phase of the disease in Bakaev and antibodies in Zobnin

Spartak announced the detection of coronavirus in two players on its official website on Saturday, when the results of testing players on COVID-19 became known.

According to the results of the procedure, a coronavirus infection was found in midfielders Zelimkhan Bakaev and Roman Zobnin. In the latter, antibodies to the virus were detected in the blood. At the moment, it does not pose a danger to others and, after an in-depth medical examination, which will be held on Monday, can resume training.

“After a 14-day quarantine due to infection, Zobnin underwent PCR testing twice within four days. The results of these tests are negative. An enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay showed the presence of immunoglobulin G in Roman's blood, which may indicate the development of his immunity. This, in turn, means that Zobnin is no longer a carrier of infection and that his presence at the base does not pose a threat to partners and staff, ”said the head of Spartak’s medical headquarters Mikhail Butovsky, whose words are quoted by the club’s website.

But Bakaev has an acute phase of the disease, although Zelimkhan does not have any symptoms. At the moment, the football player is at home in Moscow, where he will spend the entire necessary period of self-isolation.

“He will undergo an additional examination. The training decision will be made when quarantine ends and he passes two negative PCR tests within four days, ”Butovsky added.

At the same time, the doctor himself is also on self-isolation and will join the team later, since he was involved in working with coronavirus patients in one of the hospitals in Moscow.

The rest of the team, as reported on the club’s official website, gathered at the base in Tarasovka, where they will live and work in the coming weeks.

Coaches and football players returning from abroad will quarantine there, including the Spartak coach Domenico Tedesco. They will spend two weeks in a separate building and will not intersect with the rest of the team. Physical trainer Vladimir Chepzanovich will work with the remaining players.

Bakaev and Zobnin were not the first to become ill at Spartak. On May 7, club president Leonid Fedun was hospitalized with coronavirus. Ten days later, he talked about improving well-being, but so far he remains in the hospital.

"How am I feeling? In a single phrase, it’s not very good yet, ”Fedun quotes the“ Championship ”.

Positive test Pogrebyanka and ill coach "Tambov"

The first footballer to compete in the RPL, whose coronavirus was officially confirmed, was Lokomotiv striker Jefferson Farfan. Railroad workers reported a player’s diagnosis last week. At the moment, the Peruvian is on self-isolation.

Following a positive test for COVID-19 passed the defender of “Rubin” Konstantin Pliev. Then, “deviations from the norm” during testing were identified immediately in five people at Dynamo.

The midfielder of Krasnodar, Magomed-Shapi Suleymanov, also managed to get the coronavirus. According to him, he suffered the disease in early May and fully recovered.

And on Friday it became known that the Ural forward Pavel Pogrebnyak passed the positive test for COVID-19. Moreover, not only the athlete was infected, but his whole family: his wife and three sons.

“Paul’s disease is mild. Nothing threatens his health. Pavel feels well and is under constant medical supervision. At the moment, all the necessary diagnostic and treatment measures are being carried out, ”the statement said on the club’s website.

According to the footballer’s wife, the 36-year-old striker is currently in the hospital and has been diagnosed with bilateral pneumonia. The woman herself and two of the three children also complain of poor health.

In turn, Pavel thanked everyone for their support, in particular, the famous actor Mikhail Boyarsky.

“Mikhail Sergeyevich a big hello, I am very pleased that he supported me. Thank! I want to wish everyone to monitor their health and not get sick with coronavirus. Who does not believe that coronavirus exists is a fool, ”R-Sport quotes the footballer.

Also on Friday, positive tests for COVID-19 were reported in Orenburg. The disease in the acute phase was found in the goalkeeper's coach Platon Zakharchuk.

Another four people (football players Filip Rogich, Zhiga Shkoflek, Andrea Chukanov and physical training coach Yevgeny Stukalov) found antibodies.

“At the moment they feel good, there are no symptoms of respiratory diseases. All four will observe the regime of self-isolation and pass additional tests, ”the statement on the Orenburg website said.

However, in most RPL clubs there are no problems with coronavirus. According to the results of testing on COVID-19, all the results were negative in Zenit, CSKA, Ufa, Rostov, Tambov, Krasnodar (if you do not take into account Suleymanov’s already ill), Arsenal and Akhmat ".
