Three Champions League matches

Spotted in Epinal, the left winger, trained in Auxerre, was a great hope of French football when he started in the 1st division very young, at 16, under the leadership of Guy Roux, in 1993. International in all categories young, he was champion of France with AJA in 1996. With the club icaunais, he also played three matches of Champions league. But a first car accident in October 1997, in which he notably suffered several broken ribs, had been the first brake on his career.

He then rebounded in Saint-Etienne, then in Cannes, before returning to Auxerre where he mainly played in the reserve team. In 2004-2005, he joined SAS Football Epinal, his first club, for one last season before hanging up on the crampons. His son Esteban, 20, also a striker, played this season with the reserve team of Olympique Lyonnais in National 2, the club with which he is under contract until June 30.
