Monday launch in Paris of scooters with integrated helmet. It is folded in a box along the handlebars. We already talked about folding and inflatable helmets. That's it, the deployment begins.

New in soft mobility (as it is called). As of Monday in Paris, we should see the first self-service scooters appear with integrated helmets. It will be on the scooters of the Tier operator. They will have a small box under the handlebars, with a helmet folded inside (a helmet approved of course). It will be free and you can unlock it with the application and your phone. We've been trying to push scooter users to wear a helmet for a while. Some operators even offered free shopping if you photographed yourself with it. Except that you must already have one. But a helmet is big, it takes up space, we don't know what to do with it at the end of the journey. So the solution may be to make one available on each scooter.

Will there be charlottes? With a shared helmet, we also share lice and germs…

Yes, there will be, but not many. Five, only. They assure that they will change them every five rentals. Because, on average, they reload their scooters every 5 rotations. So see… Maybe you will have to walk with your own charlotte to be sure you have one. In all cases, around a hundred scooters with helmets will be deployed on Monday in Paris. And several hundred others will follow during the summer. It would be a good idea, to put some too, on self-service bikes ... Imagine that it exists. Not in France, but in Sweden and the United States at the operator Wheels (the helmet is hung on the luggage rack, at the rear). Because we have the same problem on bikes. Even if you have your own helmet, you should always have it with you, in case you want to use one of these services. So it's pretty good that we're starting to integrate them.
