Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al-Nuaimi added in a tweet on his official account on the social networking site "Twitter": Today we held a remote meeting of the Board of Directors of the Football Association, and we have seen the reports and recommendations of the various committees, and we have adopted a virtual retreat next July with the participation of a group of technical experts and manufacturers the decision".

Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid added, "We are continuing our work with the aim of developing the Emirati football system." It is expected that the Football Association has discussed many important files, most notably the fate of the Arab Gulf League, as well as the issue of decisiveness in the coach of the new national team, succeeding the former Serbian coach Ivan Jovanovic.

The Football Association has not released any details regarding these two files so far, as the initial decision to resume the league in August is still.
