The Liberal Party leader Nyamko Sabuni gave a clear call on Tuesday's Prime Minister Stefan Löfven's call: Let the football start.

- It cannot be football that should bear responsibility for how pubs succeed in following regulations or how supporters behave in general. Society and government need to take care of it, which is why it is extremely important that the Football Federation is notified and able to start in the middle of June, the Liberal Party leader said.

But according to Sports Minister Amanda Lind, there are currently no plans by the government to give a clear sign to the football movement.

- No, but right now there is an intensive dialogue between the Swedish Sports Federation, football players and the Public Health Authority and I am very positive that various sports proposals have been made from the sport on how to adapt their activities as safely as possible. That discussion must continue now. The sport needs a message as quickly as possible, she tells SVT Sport.
