Real Madrid, Inter Milan and Bayern Munich will organize a Solidarity Cup in 2021, during three meetings in the presence of the public, in order to raise funds for health services, Real Madrid announced on Tuesday.

"Real Madrid, with Bayern Munich and Inter Milan, will organize the European Cup of Solidarity in 2021", in order to "raise funds for the health services of Spain and Italy" which are fighting against the pandemic of new coronavirus, it said in a press release from the Spanish club.

Three games will be organized in 2021 in Madrid, Munich and Milan, on dates yet to be determined. "In all cases, they will be disputed when it is possible for the public to come to the stands," it is specified. Real Madrid - Inter Milan will be organized in Madrid, Inter Milan - Bayern Munich in Milan, and the match between Bayern Munich and Real Madrid in Munich.

During each meeting, the host club will invite the city's medical staff to come and attend the meeting to thank them for their fight against the pandemic. "The three clubs wish to transmit a message of solidarity and fraternity between the peoples of Europe", and want "to show their solidarity, their respect and their gratitude to these heroes", it is underlined.
