Anicet Mbida made us discover on Tuesday an innovation from South Korea. A startup has developed a system of false windows capable of reproducing sunlight, which you hang in a room without opening to the outside like a work of art.

Here is a bright innovation that might interest those who spend a lot of time in blind rooms. These are fake windows that perfectly imitate natural light.

They look like real windows (aluminum or wood, in the style and size you want). We hang them on the wall like a painting. For example, in a windowless bathroom, a basement, or a closet. And thanks to special lighting, they will give the impression that there is really an opening with daylight.

It is a technology developed by the Korean startup SunnyFive. It is very sophisticated, since the angle of the light will follow the course of the sun. We will therefore see the shadows move on the ground. It will even simulate dawn and dawn. All synchronized with what is really happening outside.

Yes, but if you look through the window, you won't see anything.

And no, since they cheat. They use frosted glass tiles. But we are already working on the next step. This will replace these tiles with a screen and display what we see outside, filmed by a camera. Imagine, if you had one installed, in your garage during containment. You could have had a beautiful view of the outside, or even a view of the sea.

In fact, it's a TV screen disguised as a window.

No, because the image constantly adapts to our point of view, so that we really have the impression of looking through a window. And it is a French technology from the startup Wintual.

Now, it would be great to mix the two: being able to reproduce both natural light and the view to the outside. This will never replace a bay window. But I know a lot, with blind pieces, who would be content with it.
