André Villas-Boas is well on the start. According to L'Equipe , the Portuguese OM coach has just refused a proposal to extend the contract. The President of Marseille Jacques-Henri Eyraud had offered the technician an additional year of contract, under the same salary conditions, as well as an optional year. The current contract of the Portuguese coach runs until June 2021.
This proposal was refused by André Villas-Boas. He had announced, in the middle of the season, that he would not stay at OM if Andoni Zubizarreta were to leave the club. The departure of the Marseille sports director was formalized last week. It was Monday at the Commandery to formalize this departure.
