This past weekend, elite football in Germany was resumed. One who enjoyed it was the Swedish Confederate Captain Janne Andersson.

- I am 100 percent positive that it is starting again now. What happens otherwise, not least if we do not get started in Sweden soon, is that it will have consequences for the clubs and for the sport. So we need to get started as quickly as possible in Sweden, he said while visiting the Sports Mirror on Sunday night.

What does your wish scenario currently look like?

- It's that we start as soon as possible. Many countries have set the start date, so it is clear that we will do it in Sweden as well. I think that is pretty obvious.

The resumption of national football is unclear, but Janne Andersson still assumes that there will be Nations League games at home against France on September 5.

- Then we'll see if we get there. Hopefully we do, but as soon as possible I want to start all leagues. Especially in Sweden. Start with that now, so we can start playing again, he says.
