Stina Nilsson's switch from length to biathlon struck like a bomb in the ski world in March. The 26-year-old left the long side as a superstar with 12 Olympics and World Cup medals. She has now come to the biathlon side where she is far from being a superstar on the dike.

- There is a lot that is difficult but there is nothing that is impossible to learn, the best shooters handle them and I just have to find my way to handle certain things, find my way to stand on the dike to be as good as possible, says Stina Nilsson.

1200 shots a week

Nilsson's personal shooter Jean-Marc Chabloz paid tribute to Stina just after a week and said that she was the greatest talent he trained and that she shot up to 1200 shots a week.

- He thinks very well of me but now we tone down these a little neighbor, it was only one week that I shot 1200 shots. Now I am at about 600-800 shots a week, which is still a good dose, but the hybris has fallen a bit, ”says Stina Nilsson.

Not as steep development

Jean-Marc Chabloz says that the first month's development has been huge but the curve does not point as steeply upwards anymore which is perfectly natural.

- It is still pointing in the right direction and we have been able to follow our plan so it goes up all the time, says Jean-Marc Chabloz.
