It is not being a simple quarantine for some NFL players . Some are spending it quietly in their places of origin or in their usual residences, but others are having problems with the law during the holidays. This is the case of Ed Oliver, Cody Latimer, DeAndre Baker and Quinton Dunbar .

Oliver, an NFL Buffalo Bills defensive line player, was arrested last night after driving under the influence and illegally carrying a weapon. According to reports, a driver reportedly warned 911 that Oliver had an open beer between his legs . After the arrest, he had a blood test and an illegal weapon was found in his car.

The Bills selected Oliver as the ninth pick in the 2019 draft and had an excellent rookie year, being singled out as one of the franchise's most promising players. Now, after this arrest, he will face several suspension matches.

Baker and Dunbar indulge in theft charges

Players DeAndre Baker, of the New York Giants , and Quinton Dunbar, of the Seatlle Seahawks , surrendered this Saturday to the Florida police (USA) to face charges of armed robbery.

Baker also faces four counts of aggravated assault related to an alleged incident at a party Wednesday night in Miramar, Florida. "The reports are correct that DeAndre turned himself in this morning," said Baker's attorney, Bradford Cohen. "I believe in the system, and that if everything works, the matter will be resolved properly," added Cohen.

The lawyers for both players said they could gather witnesses to show that their clients did not do what the police say. Baker has played a season for the Giants, starting 15 games with 61 tackles.

For his part, Dunbar has yet to play a game for the Seahawks after they acquired him in March in exchange for a fifth-round draft pick.

Redskins' Latimer also detained

Washington Redskins catcher Cody Latimer was arrested early Saturday in Colorado and charged with multiple crimes after police rushed to a home after receiving reports of multiple shots.

Latimer, 27 , faces a crime of second-degree assault, threats, and illegal possession of a weapon. He was released in the morning after posting $ 25,000 bail, and the Redskins said in a statement that "we are aware of the situation and will continue to gather more information."

Latimer spent four seasons in the Denver Broncos and signed in March for a year and a million dollars with the Redskins.
