Korean Football's 'Legendary' Cha Bum-geun, former coach, Heung-min Son, and Ja-cheol Koo have been named as the best Asian Bundesliger voting candidates by the Asian Football Federation AFC.

AFC filled 3 out of 10 candidates from South Korea as they began voting for fans of the best Asian players in the German professional football Bundesliga.

AFC told former coach, "We have lifted the European Club Competition Championship Cup in both Frankfurt and Leverkusen."

He also emphasized, "Chain Cha, who scored a double-digit goal for seven seasons, is not only the Bundesliga's best star in the 1980s, but is also regarded as the best Asian player of all time."

Son Heung-min, who is currently overwhelming among the active Asian players who have gone through the Bundesliga, is also among the nominees.

AFC said, “Heung-min Son, who started his professional career in Germany, revealed his potential at the age of his early 20s in Hamburg and Leverkusen. "I lost," said Heung Min Son's growth process.

AFC also remembered Koo Ja-cheol, who continued to play three teams in the Bundesliga for nine years.

Regarding Koo Ja-cheol, AFC said, "It was a highly versatile all-weather multiplayer and was the first Korean player to claim captain armband in the Bundesliga."

The Japanese players included three candidates: Yasuhiko Okudera, who was active at the same time as former coach, Makoto Hasebe, and Shinji Kagawa.

Iran, traditionally close to the Bundesliga, produced the largest number of four.

As of the day after the voting was held, Ashkan Dejaga (42%), Mehdi Madavikia (28%), and Ali Daei (22%) are sweeping the top three.

Korean players remain at the 1 to 3% mark.
