Croatian media revealed that the former Al Ain coach, Zoran Mamic, had received offers from three clubs in the Arab Gulf League, to take over the training of one of them at the beginning of next season.

The newspaper "Sportsky" stated that the Croatian Zoran approached to return to training again, and left his current position as sports director of the club Dinamo Zagreb, after receiving offers from Al-Ahly, Al-Wahda and Al-Jazira clubs.

She added: "Zoran was nominated to train the Emirates team, but the negotiations were suspended because the Emirates Football Association stipulated that the coach should assume the mission for only six months."

She continued: "The Croatian coach was a strong candidate to return to Al Ain training following the dismissal of his compatriot Ivan Liko, but Zoran decided to stay with Dinamo Zagreb."
