The British government agreed to return the English Premier League in June, as Secretary of State for Culture and Sports Oliver Dawden confirmed today. Representatives of "Premier League", the government, the police and the English Football Association met to discuss the issue of the return of competitions to the competition, which is topping Liverpool and is close to achieving the title after 30 years of absence.

"We are all agreed to return, if the safety factor and the health and safety of the players, coaches and staff are available," Dawden said in a press statement. "The government will open the door to the return of competitive football safely in next June. This should include the return of the public to watch matches and protect the football-related economy," he added.
