The Falsterbo Horse Show was scheduled for July 4-12. But because of the corona virus, the organizer had to cancel. But now the Swedish Riding Sports Association has awarded Falsterbo this year's outdoor SM in jumping. The competition will be arranged as two separate events in two different parts of the large event area, which usually houses the Falsterbo Horse Show. In one part, the SM is decided for seniors, young riders and juniors. In the second part, the SM is decided for pony and children.
- In Falsterbo, we feel that we really want to do something for the sport with the situation that all riders, owners, horse caretakers, coaches and fans end up in during the corona pandemic. There will be a lot of work, especially with logistics issues, but we are sure that we can arrange this in a good and safe way. It is both fun and inspiring to have a goal to work towards, says Jana Wannius, chair of the Falsterbo Horse Show.
