Former NBA star Shaquille O'Neal has called for the NBA season to be canceled, amid the Corona virus epidemic.
"Everyone has to go home, so they can stay healthy and come back next year. Just cancel the season," O'Neill, 48, said in an interview with the USA Today newspaper.
O'Neill does not like the idea of rushing to play the deciding roles and find a hero in the modified way. And it is seen from the point of view that the new champion would not be appropriate respected anyway.
"You worry about the safety of the masses and the people. Come back next year," O'Neill added.
"NBA" was the first major sports league to stop its season on March 11th, and there is no timetable for the competition to resume.
The discussions are still a circle on the completion of the competition with a new system and play in less places, but experts do not expect to return before July next.
