The Egyptian Prosecutor's Office has opened extensive investigations into the establishment of a football match in one of the stadiums in the Haram area in Al-Jazirah Governorate, in violation of the Council of Ministers' decision to prohibit the movement of citizens and prevent all gatherings to limit the spread of the "Corona" virus, according to the website of Sada Al-Balad.

The Egyptian police arrested 21 people while they were playing a "soccer match" in a stadium on Haram Street.

Information provided by the police to the prosecution confirmed that three people were caught behind the management and operation of the aforementioned stadium, and legal measures were taken against them all.

Last Thursday, the Egyptian Football Federation officially renewed the extension of its competitions in various stages, in light of the repercussions of the new Corona virus.

The freeze will continue until the end of May, and will determine after the Football Association whether the activity will return again or not
