Since the gold medal in 2007, Modo hockey has been a tough hit both sporting and financial. This year, the club played the hockeyall Swedish final but the dreams were stopped as known by a virus.

- There were two scenarios, one was that we went up in SHL and then we had several of these contracted to play in Modo. If we were to play in the hockeyall Swede, we would lose many players they were included in the calculations, but there are probably two players left at the end that we did not count on and they can probably be seen as corona patients in this context, says Johan Widebro, CEO of Modo Hockey.

Now the club is rebuilding for the next season. A challenge.
