On Thursday, the ski association will present the organization, both coaches and teams, for the coming season on the long side, says national team manager Anders Byström.

- Something is clear already, then we wait for a little squeeze, he tells SVT Sport.

Something that is clear already, however, is that the ladies and gentlemen will work more closely together, something that Aftonbladet was the first to tell.

- We will try to have more like a team this year, a national team simply. Try to move away from saying goodbye to ladies and gentlemen and work more together within the group.

"We also have to save"

What do you see the benefits of that?

- It is partly economic, we have a corona situation which means that we also have to save. The synergy effects on it are both logistical and late to get what you can on the ladies and gentlemen's side to go together and make the best of it, it can never be wrong.

Will the ladies and gentlemen have the same coach?

- It is, as I said, forms we have to put forward now with the coaches we get clear with. We shall see.

How many coaches will you have?

- It's not entirely clear either. It depends a little on which people we get clear with.

- We want it to be prestigious and work for the best of the riders. Who stands as coach on the paper is not as important, it should be communication around the rider.

According to sources from the Aftonbladet, the ski association should have turned to the question of the women's coaches Ingesson and Thomson, and according to the newspaper they should receive renewed contracts. Anders Byström does not want to comment on this.

- No, we take everything on Thursday, he says.
