Getafe has officially announced what Ángel Torres, its president, advanced on Radio Marca: members will enter the Alfonso Pérez stadium for free during next season's LaLiga games. A measure to compensate the damages caused by the coronavirus crisis, since the five home games that are still pending (Espanyol, Eibar, Real Sociedad, Villarreal and Atlético) the azulón team will be behind closed doors.

"The 13,500 Getafe subscribers this season will have their free subscription next year in LaLiga. We will not charge them. Let them know that they are not going to pay anything. My pocket pays it," the Azulon president told Radio Marca on Thursday.

"I did not go to bankruptcy, I have not done ERTE and the players and the Treasury are up to date. We are not superfluous, but even so I take a risk and, if there is not, I put it out of my pocket," added Ángel Torres with great forcefulness.

The measure does not affect Copa del Rey matches nor, in the event of qualification, those of European competitions. With it, Getafe wants to "compensate and thank" the support of their fans during the crisis
