  China News Network client, Beijing, May 8: The reporter learned from the China Mountaineering Association that around 11:00 on May 7, all members of the 2020 Everest Survey Mountaineering Team set off from the transition camp at an altitude of 5800 meters. At 17:30, the team members successively arrived at the advance camp at an altitude of 6,500 meters, and the team members were in good condition.

  According to reports, on the evening of May 6, the team members sleep well in the transitional camp at an altitude of 5800 meters. At 10 a.m. on May 7th, the team members had breakfast and took gravimeter measurements at the camp. Tibet Shengshan Mountaineering Adventure Service Co., Ltd. dispatched 4 logistics personnel who lived in the transition camp to provide logistics support services for the team members.

  The 2020 Everest Survey Mountaineering Team Leader's second drop revealed that the visibility of the camp is relatively low, the camp is light snow, and the wind is relatively low.
