Bayern Munich, seeking their eighth consecutive title, topped the table with 55 points, four points behind Dortmund, while Leipzig is third with 50 points, and nine rounds remain at the end of the competition.

The German Association announced that the last game of the season is scheduled to take place in the week beginning on June 27, in order to avoid legal problems of about 100 players whose contracts will expire on June 30.
