The German club Schalke 04 announced that its former player Hanek Kampa was found alive more than 4 years after his death in a road accident in his country, the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

 German "Bild".

The newspaper added that the former right back of the Schalke Club, who is currently 33 years old, is now working as a technician in an energy laboratory, after he was dead on paper since January 2016 following an alleged traffic accident.

Kampa claimed that the reason for his disappearance was that his friends abandoned him in the Congo in January 2016 and left him without documents, money and a mobile phone.

After his disappearance, his death was announced in 2016, and his ex-wife benefited from his life insurance policy and received a large sum.
