The Norwegian Football Association's (NFF) requirements for being able to resume top football again include, among other things, limited social contact and that players may not go to other jobs or to school. In addition, they are not allowed to go by public transport, visit shops or cafés.

- The quarantine requirements for the players make it extra problematic for us, because we have many players who are students and who have jobs alongside the football, says Hege Jørgensen, head of the women's highest series top series for VG and continues:

- It will be a challenge for us. In addition, there will be greater costs, around medical personnel and so on.

"Will require a lot"

The series, both men and women, is slated to begin in mid-June and players' contracts will be resumed from next week. But Jørgensen thinks it will be later than that for the ladies.

- We have been involved in the process around these rules all the time and really want to commend the job the union has done together with the authorities. But it will still require a lot from the top series to start.

On Thursday, the government will approve if Norwegian top football gets green light to start.
