Barça have added their tenth consecutive league title by being proclaimed champion of the Asobal League 2019-2020 after the competition was terminated , with eleven days to go until the end, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Barça team has finished the league undefeated , with 19 victories in 19 games and with a five point advantage over the second classified, Ademar León.

It is the nineteenth Barça title in the Asobal league and the twenty-seventh in the entire history of the national competition. The team of Xavi Pascual has been the best attack in the league with an average of 38.4 goals, and the best defense, with 24.8 goals conceded.

To add these ten titles, the Catalans have played 287 matches, with 281 wins, two draws and only four defeats, in a streak that began on the first day of the 2010-2011 season, on September 11, 2010 with victory at the Palau Blaugrana in front of Torrevieja (34-25).

The last league match this season was played by the Barça team at the Palau Blaugrana on February 25, defeating At.Valladolid 43-28. Barça's last defeat occurred at the Palau against Fraikin Granollers (28-29), who had not won in the Barcelona fiefdom for 25 years. It was April 13, 2018 and the end of a series, practically unattainable, of 145 victories and a draw that lasted 4 years, 10 months and 26 days.

In the rest of national competitions the azulgrana maintain their undefeated streak with 63 matches: 24 in the Copa del Rey, 18 in the Asobal Cup, 8 in the Spanish Super Cup and 13 in the Catalan Super Cup.

This streak began on August 15, 2013 in the Barça victory in the semifinal of the Catalan Super Cup on the track of the Bordils from Girona (23-50).

Since then they have added consecutively 7 Copas del Rey, 7 Asobal Cups, 7 Super Cups from Spain and 6 Super Cups from Catalonia.
