The national team captain earlier this year - when the World Cup was canceled - did not know whether it would be a continuation of the player career at all.

- After all, they had set themselves up and it was a pretty abrupt end there. So that might be a reason why you don't feel really ready either, says Erika Grahm to SVT Sport and develops:

- Most people say that you feel a pretty clear stomach feeling whether you are finished or not. I still feel it is fun to work out, driven by development and I think we have something exciting going on here in Brynäs

"Not like when I was younger"

But how it turns out to be games in blue yellow is uncertain.

- I have not made a decision at all when it comes to the national team, you have to perform to be selected as well. Should I be out-competed, that's it. I take nothing for granted but it is above all the focus on playing in the club team now.

Is it only if there is a request that you will make a final decision?

- Yes exactly. Then it's not like when you were younger and made every decision in life after hockey, but I have a job that it should work with as well, says Grahm.

"Not the national team that drives me"

- It is not the national team that drives me anymore but I think it is fun to play hockey, whether it is with or without the women's crowns is not something I am thinking about now. If I feel like playing in the national team and will be eliminated then I have to decide on it then but that is the full focus of the club team now.

But if the women's crown were to stand without their team captain and profile, Erika Grahm is confident that the future is bright.

- There are incredibly much younger girls coming up now too, so I'm not worried that the women's crowns will be successful in the future.
