Frida Karlsson, 20, has just returned to Sollefteå after a couple of weeks of skiing and training at the family's cottage in the mountains. Tomorrow, May 1, officially begins the new training year.

But it will be a different seasonal upload. Not least because of the corona pandemic: Only in August will the national team be able to gather at camps.

- I get to work here at home, says Karlsson.

- It is clear that we are a strong team and would have taken a lot of help from each other to exchange experiences and save each other.

"A big pin"

Another big difference when it comes to just sparring is that newcomer biathlon Stina Nilsson is no longer a member of the national team.

- I think that is a big loss for cross-country skiing, Stina is very good with good ideas in training. She is a fun person to join the team. But it is cool for her to follow her dreams and dare to do what she does and trust the gut feeling that she does. It will be really exciting to follow her.

Stina was with you and took the World Cup gold with you in Seefeld, who should take the last leg of a relay now?

- I don't think anyone knows. We are an incredibly strong team and there are many who can take the anchor role, it will be fun to see.
