LaLiga has informed the 42 First and Second Division clubs that the tests prior to the start of the individual training sessions will take place between Tuesday and Thursday next week. In this way, and since the results take 48 hours to be known, professional soccer players will be able to resume training individually between Thursday and Saturday next week.

This approach is at the expense of the definitive response given by the Ministry of Health to the protocol proposed by LaLiga, which includes carrying out massive tests before footballers return to work. For this reason, despite the fact that the Government will authorize training from Monday, in the First and Second Division the activity will begin between Thursday and Saturday next week.

This is LaLiga's second attempt to start the tests, which will be carried out by a private laboratory, whose technicians will go to the facilities of the 42 professional clubs to carry out the required tests. This device was scheduled for this week, but the Government halted its implementation after the stir caused by the news published by EL MUNDO.

The definitive approval of the Government to the massive test plan will come, predictably, this Thursday during the meeting of the Working Group for the Promotion of Sport coordinated by the CSD and in which LaLiga, AFE and RFEF are present.
