In a letter to the 55 member nations, Uefa chairman Aleksander Ceferin writes that the leagues that suspend the rest of the season by May 25 must inform Uefa which teams are eligible for the Champions League and Europa League.
"The national unions must explain the circumstances that made them have to close the leagues prematurely and select teams for Uefa's club team competitions on sporting merits in the league game season 2019-20," Ceferin writes in the letter.
