"We are going to do as we did previously for friends, we renamed a stadium at l'Etrat for Aimé Jacquet, another synthetic stadium was renamed Georges Berretta. There, it will not be a stadium, it will be the center of life, the center of the State, which we will remind of Robert Herbin sports center. We will have a great event and a great inauguration when we can do so, given this damn virus, "he explained. . 

"The man of renewal, not just ASSE"

Earlier on Europe 1, the other co-president of AS Saint-Etienne Bernard Caiazzo had also paid tribute to the "Sphinx": "He is one of the most important characters in ASSE. the man of renewal, not only from ASSE, but from French football ".

"These are men like him who made us proud thanks to results and international recognition. If France is one of the great nations of football, it owes a lot to men like Robert Herbin," said Bernard Caiazzo.
