PSG President Nasser Al-Khelaïfi said on Tuesday (April 28th) that his club, qualified for the quarter-finals of the Champions League, were ready to play their matches abroad "if it were not possible to play them in France ", where football will not resume until August.

"With the agreement of UEFA, we intend to participate in the final phase of the Champions League at the places and dates where it will be organized. If it is not possible to play in France, we will play our matches at the foreigner ensuring us better health security conditions for our players and all our staff, "said the Qatari leader in a statement.

His speech comes a few hours after Prime Minister Edouard Philippe closed the door to a resumption of competition before August, "even behind closed doors" as then specified by the Ministry of Sports. "We respect the decision of the French government," assured Nasser Al-Khelaïfi.
