On Monday, ÖFK's team of players gathered for the first joint training of the season at Jämtkraft Arena. Then Daniel Kindberg appeared on the pitch.

Before the eyes of the Östersund Post's reporter, Kindberg was seen giving a short speech to the players.

According to Mathias Rasteby, ÖFK's new chairman since March 12, the meeting had been scheduled since before. He tells ÖP that Kindberg had "got a okay on saying good bye type".

"It was a quick meeting, completed in minutes"

For SVT Sport he develops his statement.

- It may have been a bit sloppy wording, but he wanted to explain to the players from his own horizon that he has no assignment for the club anymore. We said that okay, says Mathias Rasteby.

You tell ÖP that Kindberg has the same rights as a common supporter, but do regular supporters usually go on the pitch and meet with the players?

- No, and from now on it applies to him as well. We just said okay yesterday. It was a quick meeting, completed in minutes. Completely odramatic.

Kindberg: There was no goodbye

Daniel Kindberg has another picture of the event:

"I did not say goodbye to the players, and what we say to each other stays with me!" He writes via SMS to OP.

- I can't comment on his perspective, says Mathias Rasteby.

Daniel Kindberg no longer has a formal role, but what about informal roles?

- No no, he has no role at all.

The ball lies with the court

The tours around Daniel Kindberg have been many. On November 5, Ångermanland's District Court sentenced the former ÖFK chairman on seven points, including gross allegiance to the principal, infidelity to the principal and gross accounting offense.

The penalty was three years in prison and a ban on nutrition for five years. Daniel Kindberg has appealed against the judgment to the High Court.

The reason is briefly that Daniel Kindberg is suspected to have pumped money into ÖFK via scam invoices, which were locked between different companies with the help of the two accomplices "Sollefteåbon" and "Peabman". All three refuse a crime.
