Robert Herbin left this evening at the north hospital of Saint Etienne. His brother and his Sisters wished that I officially announce it to you.
We think of his family, his friends and relatives, of the green people. The world of football is in mourning. @ ASSEofficiel

Robert Herbin was hospitalized at the Saint-Etienne University Hospital last Tuesday for serious heart and lung failure unrelated to the coronavirus. The Greens owe him in particular their epic in the European Cup of champion clubs in 1976, ended on a defeat in the famous final of the "posts squares ”.
