Therese Johaug had three big goals in athletics this year. She would play 3000 meters at the Diamond League gala in Oslo and 10,000 meters at the Norwegian Championships and at the European Championships in Paris.
The European Championships are now canceled and thus there will be no athletics competitions for the 31-year-old Norwegian.
- It is not that the world collapses, but it is obviously sad. But I know most about the athletes who had the European Championship as their main goal this season, she tells NRK.
Johaug is now aiming for the skiing championship in Oberstdorf, which is scheduled to begin in February 2021, but if it did not get rid of, she is used to training without any clear goal since she was doping suspended for two years.
