Algerian coach Djamel Belmadi wants to include Luca, son of Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane, and the goalkeeper of the royal squad currently loaned to Racing Santander, according to the Algerian newspaper "Echorouk".

Luca, 21, holds both French and Spanish citizenship, but his father has Algerian citizenship.

Belmadi seeks to include Luca in the ranks of the "Desert Warriors" in the hope of decreasing the age of the team crowned with the 2019 African Nations Cup.

Belmadi has already asked the Algerian Football Association to try to complete the papers of Luca Zidane quickly.

For his part, Luka has no objection to representing the Greens - according to the Algerian newspaper - as he seeks to hold a session with Belmadi as soon as possible to talk about the matter.

If the papers are completed quickly, Lucca will be available to represent the "Greens" in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers in Qatar and the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations.

It is noteworthy that Ibn Zain Al-Din Zidan - known as "Zizou" - represented the France U-17 team.
