She added that this stadium will host the matches of the Guangzhou Evergrande team belonging to the Chinese League, and will exceed the capacity of Barcelona's Camp Nou stadium to become the largest stadium built specifically for football, but the largest stadium is "Rongrado May 1" in North Korea, which was built for many purposes , It will remain the largest in the world with a capacity of 114,000 spectators.

According to international sites, the group chose to design the lotus as a traditional Chinese flower, and it belongs to a designer named Hassan Sayed, who lives in Shanghai. The stadium will include entertainment, commercial and dining areas and is likely to be completed by the end of 2022.

The company said it has decided to build the stadium because China does not have enough football stadiums, and confirmed that it hopes this facility will help give a boost to Chinese football.
