In one of the clips posted by Argentine star Lionel Messi on his accounts on social networking sites, the followers of "Bulga" noticed a remarkable thing represented in the presence of a special corner for the legend Mohamed Ali Clay inside the training hall.

During the home quarantine, the stars - led by Barcelona's leader - used to publish such videos, among them a video in which this wall featured pictures of the most important moments of the legendary boxer.

Messi was clearly influenced by Muhammad Ali as an inspiring symbol, especially in his journey of ascension to become the best in the world.

This wall is not the only indication of Muhammad Ali's “Bulgha” appreciation, as the Argentinian star wore a shirt with a picture of the legendary boxer with the famous phrase “Hovering like a butterfly and stinging like a bee” during the renewal of his contract with Barca in 2014.

Messi was seen on more than one occasion during the past years wearing T-shirts bearing the image of Muhammad Ali.

After his death, Messi posted on his official Facebook account a picture of Muhammad Ali with the phrase that was expressing the way he played and defeated his opponent in the ring.

In an interview dating back to 2013, when Messi was asked how the competition between him and Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo could be compared to the conflict that existed between Mohamed Ali and American boxer Joe Fraser, the Argentine star answered that "things are very different ... boxing is an individual game while football is collective."
