The new Sharjah Club Board of Directors decided in its first meeting today, headed by Ali Salem Al-Midfa, to distribute administrative positions. The new formation witnessed the return of Abdullah Al-Ajlah to the presidency of the club's football company, while Mohammed Obaid Al-Hossan is the head of team games management after he achieved great successes in this position in The previous administration of the club.
The club said in a statement today: "Engineer Sulaiman Al-Hajri will continue his duties in the new council as head of the Individual Games Department, continuing the march of excellence that accompanied his assumption of management in the previous two councils. Al-Hajri is the director of the Roads and Transport Authority for Roads Affairs in Sharjah, and the Secretary General of the Emirates Engineers Association."
The statement added: "Among the new faces in the Board of Directors is Sultan Ibrahim Al-Askar, Director of Sharjah Islamic Bank, Al-Jarinah Branch, who will occupy the position of Head of the Financial and Administrative Affairs Department, which is the new independent department for financial affairs, which will have the supreme authority in everything related to the financial and administrative aspects of the club."
"The director of the media office of the Sharjah government will also be Tariq Saeed Allai, head of the Department of Media and Social Communication, through which he will oversee media policy and implement the vision and direction of the board of directors in a way that is reflected positively in various media, and the lawyer Mohammed Ali Al Hammadi will also be a member of an advisory council. The Emirate of Sharjah is currently a member of the Appeal Committee and the Club Licensing Committee of the Emirates Football Association, the arbitrator accredited to the Sharjah Center for International Commercial Arbitration and the former player in the Sharjah Club Membership of the Board of Directors Chairman of the Legal Affairs Department.
For his part, Al-Midfa said the club’s official website: “The new administrative structure witnessed, for the first time, at the level of sports club boards of directors, adding a new member to be president of health affairs and sports medicine and everything related to nutrition and health assessment programs and supervising the medical and health aspects of the club, which is Dr. Abdulaziz Saeed Al-Muhairi, Director of Sharjah Health Authority, member of the UAE Health Council, former Secretary-General of the National Anti-Doping Committee.
