Maiteland, the leader of the Danish Football League, resorted to an innovative idea to enable his fans - behind closed doors - to watch matches when the league that is currently suspended due to the outbreak of the Coruna virus, and motivate players through the presence of public support.

And giant screens were placed outside the stadium so that fans could watch the matches of the private cars that would line up in an organized manner determined by the club to accommodate the largest number of cars.

The league leaders described the matter as the best solution to face the absence of the fans, and the players will feel the presence of ten thousand spectators through a live broadcast of the parking lot, where the players interact with the fans outside the stands.

"We are working hard to make the best possible experience. The Corona virus does not change that as it only forces us to have some preconditions," the BBC's director of marketing, Preben Roche, was quoted by the BBC as saying.

The club noted that more than two thousand 12,000 places of a car will be opened around the stadium, and fans can listen to comments via radio in cars.

Maiteland explained that the success of the experiment in the first match would determine the possibility of opening other places for the fans.

FC Midtjylland is planning a 'drive-in' football experience that will allow a maximum of 10,000 supporters in 2000 cars to watch games on big screens around their stadium.

The league was halted indefinitely by the virus, which has infected nearly 2.4 million people worldwide, and has killed more than 164,000 people.

More than 7,300 people have been infected with the virus in Denmark.

Roccaire said the club has continuously contacted police and stadium officials to create a safe framework and provide security for all fans.

The BBC indicated that the Danish League will resume on May 17, with the season ending at the end of July.
