Liverpool legend Jimmy Carragher sparked controversy among the Reds fans, after answering the toughest question about the best player from his point of view, among the team's attacking duo, Egyptian international Mohamed Salah, or the Senegalese international Sadio Mane.

Carragher said during a live broadcast through his account on "Instagram", in response to a question about the player he preferred, Salah or Mani? "I prefer Mane, I am a big fan, he is my favorite Liverpool player," he replied.

In response to another question about the best in his view between Sadio Mane and defender Virgil Van Dyck, he said: "Virgil is the best player in Liverpool, but Mane is my favorite." This is not the first time that Sadio Mane, the former English international, was chosen at the expense of Mohamed Salah, as Carragher confirmed in press statements, reported by the British newspaper "Daily Mail" last year that he was a fan of Sadio Mane.

"I am a great fan of Germany," Carragher said. "People are talking about Liverpool returning to the title road because of Jurgen Klopp and signing with Salah and Virgil Van Dyck. Manny is the one who brought Liverpool back to the competition for titles. It was the first major signing of Jürgen Klopp." The international continued his talk about the Senegalese star, saying, "It was the contract with Sadio Mane that made Liverpool the first four." In response to a question whether he had to theoretically lose Salah or Mane, he replied: "Salah, because for me Sadio Mane managed to score in very crucial matches in the Liverpool race towards winning the Premier League title, in addition to helping the team win important points."
