The Emirates Professional Association confirmed that the association's technical committee submitted a recommendation to the Board of Directors regarding the future of professional competitions, to be reviewed and approved after consultation and coordination with the competent authorities, without making the statement any further clarification on these proposals.

The statement added: The technical committee of the association discussed possible scenarios for the current season in the light of stopping sporting activity in the country as a precautionary and preventive measure to limit the spread of Corona Virus emerging as a delegate 19, during the second meeting of the committee, which was held last Sunday evening by the "remote meetings" system.

The meeting was chaired by the association's board member, head of the committee, Hassan Talib Al-Marri, and was attended by a member of the board, vice president, Tariq Ali Al-Shabibi, members of the committee Ismail Rashid, Sabit Khater Al-Junaibi, Nasser Abdullah Al-Hammadi, Sulaiman Hussain Al-Balushi and Taha Izzat, committee members, and the executive director of the association .
The meeting was attended by members of the technical development initiatives team of technicians and experts: Abdul Hamid Al-Mestaki and Alaa Madkour, and representatives of the technical and competitions management in the Football Association.
